If anyone is feeling particularly generous and loving toward me this upcoming season, this would do nicely, I think. Amazon.com has come up with what looks to be a pretty good electronic book. I realize myself my purist nature when it comes to books (who doesn't love the smell of books, and the feel of paper between your fingers?), but for travelling and just plain cool-factor, this little gadget would play nice with my books.
It's environmentally friendly, it's slim, it's wireless, it's ridiculously expensive, it's the brand-new Amazon.com Kindle.
